Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-01-25T21:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-01-25T21:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N18W70
Active Region Number: 14342
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Faint CME seen to the WNW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1 but covered by a daily data gap in STEREO A COR2. A possible source for this CME is C7.9 flare north of AR 14342 centered ~(N18W70) peaking at 2026-01-25T21:36Z, accompanied by a very minor eruption signified by small post-eruptive arcades seen in SDO AIA 193.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

The CME is fully covered by the daily gap in STEREO A COR2, so we are unable to confirm this analysis with triangulation. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
